Abstract
Bronchioloalveolar carcinoma accounts for less than 6% of all primary lung cancer but
has distinct clinical feature and unusual. pathologic appearance. A primary lung cancer
which can produce a cavity was almostly squamous cell carcinoma and cavity formation
was rare in bronchioloalveolar cell carcinoma.
We experienced a case of lung abscess secondary to bronchioloalveolar carcinoma in a
36 year old female patient who was admitted due to chest tightness for 4 months. Right
middle lobectomy was performed successfully and she became well after lobectomy.
